C4 Advanced Solutions and Eads Defence and Security create a joint venture

C4 Advanced Solutions (C4AS) a wholly owned subsidiary of the Emirates Advanced Investments group and Eads Defence and Security (DS) create a joint venture company in Abu Dhabi to develop and market High Tech solutions in the field of Defence and Security applications.
The Joint Venture is dedicated to bringing advanced solutions to its customers. Those solutions will be jointly developed by Eads DS and C4AS through the new JV Company in close cooperation with customers and end users, thus maximising operational value.
This partnership is also a clear cornerstone of Eads DS and EAI strategy to address efficiently the key importance of transfer of technology to the UAE, as a success factor for the development and mastering of strategic and nationally sensitive defence and security systems.
C4 Advanced Solutions is a UAE defence contractor specializing in defence and homeland security, communications and IT solutions for the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces. Its industry knowledge, technical expertise and strategic partner's relationships provide a compelling combination for its customers.
EADS Defence and Security (DS) is a systems solutions provider for armed forces and civil security worldwide. Its portfolio ranges from sensors and secure networks through missiles to aircraft and UAVs as well as global security, service and support solutions. In 2007, DS - with around 22,000 employees - achieved revenues of €5.5bn.
