UOWD announces 10% reduction in first semester fees for new students

In response to the current economic situation, the University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD), one of the largest institutions of higher learning in the UAE, is offering a 10% reduction on first semester fees to all new students, if they apply and pay for a program before March 31, 2009.

Rob Whelan, President of UOWD, said:
"We understand how difficult it is to balance budgets in these hard times and we hope our gesture will provide some relief to parents and students. We would like to assure the community that UOWD will continue to devise ways to mitigate students' hardships in different ways."


UOWD, a prestigious institution of higher education, accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, is gearing up for admissions to the summer semester in undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Currently, the university has over 3,500 students representing 108 nationalities.
