Sharjah Ruler to open National Career Exhibition

His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Member of Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, will open the three-day National Career Exhibition at Expo Centre Sharjah on Wednesday (February 25, 2009).

The event is being held under the patronage of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi. It will run until Friday (February 27, 2009).

More than 100 exhibitors are taking part in the show. The previous edition of the show featured nearly 80 exhibitors and attracted more than 10,529 visitors.

All major local and international banks that have a presence in the country will take part in the show. Apart from banks, other government departments from all over UAE will participate.

Tele-Communications companies, Governmental Departments, Ministries, Money exchanges, free zones, insurance companies and financial consultants will also take part.

A new pavilion for higher education will be launched at this year's show. The higher education pavilion titled Edu'09 will feature leading universities from Syria, Egypt, Jordan and several other countries, apart from UAE-based colleges and universities.

The National Career Exhibition is being organized by Expo Centre Sharjah in association with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Human Resources Development Committee in the Banking Sector, and Emirates Institute for the Banking and Financial Studies.
