Dubai Maritime City signs a strategic agreement with Dubai Quality Group

The partnership is likewise poised to boost Dubai's quest of becoming the region's centre of maritime excellence as has been outlined in the emirate's economic diversification agenda under the Dubai Strategic Plan.

Having been the first organisation in the Middle East to be awarded PAS 99 by DNV, Dubai Maritime City has also obtained several other quality certifications such as ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007 and PAS99:2006, making it DQG's ideal strategic partner for all its specialised initiatives in the maritime sector. DQG will provide Dubai Maritime City with a full range of support facilities to pursue all its quality-driven initiatives and maintain its status as a benchmark of quality and excellence in the region's maritime industry.
