HH Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed visits Gulfood 2009

HH Sheikh Majid toured through the exhibition hall and visited various exhibition stands of more than 3,300 local and international companies specializing in food services, hospitality, kitchen, etc., and expressed his admiration for exhibitors' participation in this event, which he described as a global event and a forum for exhibitors, consumers and investors who are also looking for opportunities of production and marketing partnerships in the region through the UAE.

During his tour of the exhibition, HH Sheikh Majid was accompanied by Mr. Helal Saeed Al Marri, the Director General of Dubai World Trade Center. HH Sheikh Majid welcomed UAE guests, exhibitors and visitors, expressing confidence that the UAE government and the facilities and logistics services available to participants in the exhibitions will be the best and will attract representatives of government and private sectors regionally and globally as well.

His Highness Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, praised the steady growth of the exhibition and the extensive participation of the countries' private sector, the region and the world. This helps the local commercial sector to be active and prosperous.
