Connacht booked their place on the flight to Abu Dhabi with a dramatic 2-20 to 2-18 win over Munster at Pearse Stadium. Munster had led by two points going into stoppage time, but Niall Healy scored an injury time goal and point to secured the win for Connacht. Leinster proved far too strong for Ulster at Casement Park and won comfortably: Ulster 0-8 Leinster 4-14.
The M Donnelly Inter-Provincial Hurling final is one of the biggest matches in the hurling calendar and will take place at the Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club, between Abu Dhabi and Dubai which is being staged by Etihad Airways and the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority.
