Thrifty announces long-term leasing now available to individuals in UAE
- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, February 25 - 2009 at 11:16
- PRESS RELEASE
Thrifty UAE announced today that long term leasing is now available to individuals in the UAE market as a cost-effective alternative to purchasing a vehicle.
"Long-term leasing enables an individual to budget for a fixed monthly cost while taking away the headache of car servicing and maintenance. It's also more cost-effective than a monthly hire, and we're seeing significant uptake on personal long-term leases as the UAE's drivers find it increasingly difficult to secure credit to purchase a car," said Rahul Singh, General Manager, Thrifty UAE.
Thus far, Thrifty UAE has reported that the Japanese small and medium sized sedans are the most popular models requested through its individual long-term leasing scheme. With a fleet numbering in excess of 15,000 vehicles, Thrifty is now the largest car rental organization in the UAE and, with its wide variety of models - incorporating everything from the basic yet value-for-money Nissan Tiida to the more adventurous Mitsubishi Pajero - holds true to its word of providing transport within every price bracket.
Thrifty also boasts one of the biggest networks in the UAE; with 30 full-service outlets in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Fujairah, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Al Ain.
