  • PRESS RELEASE

Enriching its top-down approach to application management, Oracle today announced the availability of new Oracle Real User Experience Insight Accelerators for Oracle's Siebel CRM and the Oracle E-Business Suite.

Oracle Real User Experience Insight Accelerators monitor application specific protocols and automate the configuration, setup, and user experience monitoring of Oracle applications.

A key component of Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Real User Experience Insight enables enterprises to maximize the value of their business-critical applications by delivering valuable insight into end-user experiences. It integrates performance and usage analysis into a single offering, enabling business and IT stakeholders to develop a shared understanding of their application users' behavior and optimize their experience.

Highlights of Oracle Real User Experience Insight Accelerators

• Pre-configured templates - enable rapid application deployment and faster time to value.
- Out-of-the-box monitoring - automatically discovers Oracle applications and translates network objects to business functions for actionable insight.
- Unique identification-through-elimination - removes clutter and helps shorten the time needed to identify and fix critical data center issues.
• Application specific decoding - support for Oracle Forms and Siebel CRM HI protocols provides insight into user experience not possible until now.
- Automatic monitoring, capture and reporting of all functional errors - enables significant improvements in user experience and helps administrators to proactively assess and adapt applications to improve the user experience.
- User satisfaction monitoring - enables organizations to rapidly respond to declining satisfaction rates for Oracle applications.
• Transaction measurement and monitoring - extends beyond simply logging errors and allows for measurement and monitoring of real user transactions including:
- Contextual analysis for each individual action, from clicks and views to business transactions,
- Definition of business transactions and monitoring of all user activity within the context of those business transactions, and
- Insight into key metrics such as conversion rates, transaction performance and transaction volumes.

"With the new Oracle Real User Experience Insight Accelerators, Oracle continues to help customers lower the total cost of ownership for their Oracle applications. Customers can mitigate lost revenue caused by abandoned or aborted customer transactions, reduce call center volume, accelerate problem resolution of poorly performing applications and adapt to the changing needs of their organization by providing insight into business activity and user experience," said Richard Sarwal, Oracle senior vice president Product Development.

Availability

• The Siebel CRM and Oracle E-Business Suite Accelerators are available immediately.
• The PeopleSoft Enterprise Accelerator is scheduled to be available in calendar 2009.
