Regional advertising stalwart joins Al Rai Media Group

Al Rai Media Group, a leading Kuwait-based media conglomerate, today announced the appointment of noted advertising professional Karim S. Tabet as Group General Manager, Marketing and Sales.

He replaces Atef Kamel, who has been entrusted with new responsibilities within the group.

Karim is a graduate from the American University of Beirut and a post-graduate from the prestigious Oxford University in the UK. Karim brings 26 years of marketing and communication experience in the Middle East, having worked with some of the region's largest advertising agencies and blue-chip multinational clients, most notably in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. His most recent assignment was with Drive advertising agency, where he held the position of Regional Managing Director (Levant and North Africa).

In his new function, Karim will be responsible for enhancing the equities of the group's media brands as well as designing and developing with his team the appropriate marketing strategies to optimize the Group's advertising revenue streams.
