In the true spirit of a glitzy Hollywood bash SkillSoft presented the award for the 'EMEA Partner of the Year' to the Dubai-based e-Learning consultancy and solution provider Xpert Learning.

Paul Michael Gledhill who was present to accept the award said it was great to be in LA just a few days before the Oscars and it created a unique atmosphere which added to the occasion.

"This partner is one of our more established partners," explained Kevin Young, SkillSoft Managing Director, EMEA. "They continue to excel year on year. Over the last 5 years they have shown continuous growth year on year and they have also won our Sales Person of the Year (twice) and also Partner of the Year several times. This year they have again truly excelled with a revenue growth of 182% across their courseware and Books 24x7 business. They have signed 8 new named new business clients, up-sold numerous other clients and at the same time they have ensured they have managed their internal growth requirements and training to ensure they can continue to support their clients' needs moving forward."

He added, "It is our great pleasure, once again to announce that Xpert Learning from Dubai/United Arab Emirates is our EMEA Partner of the Year."

"With the current Global situation," says Paul. "We are discovering whole new conversations around personal accountability in corporations and the measurement of human capital value. We have developed ROI (return on investment) tools to measure the effects of displacing or enhancing traditional methods of classroom based learning. The sustainable enterprise is trying to gain less for more from employees to maximise productivity. This means up-skill, re-skill at all levels in the most efficient ways."

"It is always special to receive acknowledgement for the contribution we have made in the Middle East market and we are committed to serving the region to continually combine people and knowledge through technology," he concluded.
