LG unveils in the Lebanese Market the next evolution in mobile computing

LG Electronics, a worldwide technology and design leader in Mobile communication, and its esteemed partner Echo Computer announced the next generation in mobile connectivity with the unveiling of the LG Netbook X110.

Offering the full PC experience on the move, LG's X110, nicknamed "More Mobile Netbook", is an affordable and stylish device that allows users to stay connected to friends at all times, whether through Instant Messaging, email or social networking updates.

"Today's consumers in the region, and specifically in Lebanon, have high expectations when it comes to how and where they can get online. Whether at home, school, university or on business, users of all ages expect instant access to information and their online communities," said Mr. Omar Choi, IT Marketing General Manager in LGe Levant.

Available initially with 3G in black, pink and white, and with its compact size, small enough to fit into a handbag or rucksack, the LG Netbook has the form and functionality to connect users to their broadband - when and where they want.

This notebook will be available to the Lebanese users starting March 2009, and it will also be available in non 3G and with more colours in due course.

The LG Netbook is equipped with WLAN 802.11 b/g and 10/100 Ethernet for fast and stable connectivity. It has an impressive DDR2 1GB memory and 160GB HDD, Windows XP Home edition, WSVGA 10-inch widescreen offers enhanced viewing and its 82-key full-size keyboard makes typing easier and more accurate.
