  • PRESS RELEASE

JAL Hotels has established a pre-opening office located in the newly finished ACICO Business Park in Port Saeed, Dubai, for what will be Dubai's first major Japanese-managed hotel property in the Emirate - the Hotel JAL Tower Dubai.

Scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2010, the 5-star deluxe Hotel JAL Tower Dubai will be situated in a premium location on the Sheikh Zayed Road opposite the Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai International Convention Centre, with easy access to the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

Joining the Hotel JAL Fujairah Resort & Spa, the opening of the Dubai property will mark the second hotel within the United Arab Emirates to be managed by JAL Hotels and like the Fujairah property, is owned by the Kuwait headquartered ACICO.

Once finished, the Hotel JAL Tower Dubai will be home to 471 rooms and suites, a business centre, meeting room facilities, health club and spa.

Seven quality Food and Beverage outlets are also planned for the property, which are expected
to become focal points for Dubai's lovers of the gastronomic.

Says Mr. C. Fujimoto, Executive Officer Middle East Region;

"The establishment of the Hotel JAL Tower Dubai Pre-Opening Office brings us one important step closer to the launch of our first managed hotel in Dubai. Building on our success in the region with the Hotel JAL Fujairah Resort and Spa, we expect our new Dubai property to widen the appeal of our trusted brand, quality of service and philosophy of refined luxury, especially among the business community, both
here within the region and beyond."

The pre-opening office will be headed by Mr. O Pollard, Deputy General Manager, and recently welcomed Ms. Vanessa Waldow as the Director of Sales and Marketing for both JAL Hotels' Dubai and Fujairah properties.
