Daimler sees 2010 recovery

German car manufacturer Daimler has said that it expects significant decreases in sales in 2009 but that the market would begin to recover slightly in 2010. The company, which owns Mercedes-Benz, said that its 2008 inventory increased by close to $20bn. Mercedes-Benz global sales fell 35% in January.
