New leadership at Audi Abu Dhabi
- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, March 01 - 2009 at 13:55
Audi Abu Dhabi, represented by Ali and Sons Co. L. L. C. Motors Division, has announced the appointment of two key personnel to its management line-up for 2009.
The role of Group After Sales Manager is being filled by Roberto Cossutti - who also has a strong background in the premium automotive sector and specifically in Abu Dhabi.
Jones commented, "Abu Dhabi is still a hugely untapped area of potential both in terms of sales and after sales. With the difficult market conditions right now, we need to invest in further improvement to remain abreast of the competition, be it in terms of personnel, training or facilities. Every customer and every car counts."
Audi Abu Dhabi achieved sales of 1160 units in 2008, fairing particularly well with increased sales of core models. Sales for the A6 in 2008 were up 108% from the previous year, while the A8 saw an increase of 10% for the same period.
Jones added that the increase in sales for the A6 was due to a particularly high demand on the 3.2 quattro model, and an increase in corporate sales.
The brand recently launched the new Audi A6 and RS6 saloons, which will be of major importance to the volume contribution in 2009. With the latest products in the market and further increased activities at the dealership, Audi Abu Dhabi aims to come out of 2009 stronger than ever.
