Qatar rental demand falls

Many Qatar real estate agents have now stopped offering furnished apartments to prospective clients, fearing losses due to the relatively low demand for properties. Rentals for apartments and shared villas have also started to drop. A single room with hall, kitchen and bathroom that was offered at QR3,500 or more a few months ago, is now available at prices ranging from QR2,000 to QR2,500. Rents for small houses are also expected to fall.
