CMCS to empower region's project-driven businesses to overcome crisis through Abu Dhabi seminar

To be held under the theme 'Empowering Project-driven Businesses', the event will enlighten Telecommunications, Engineering and Construction, Power, and Energy and Process firms on how PPM solutions can help them adapt to today's challenging business environments by achieving efficiency and managing project risk.

Although regional projects are currently the pillars of the regional economy, best practices such as project and portfolio management have yet to be fully embraced by contractors and developers.

Bassam Al-Samman, CEO and Founder of CMCS said, "Despite proving itself as a key to business growth and development across the globe, especially during hard times, Project Management is still in its infancy stage when it comes to the Middle Eastern business community. In fact, only 30 to 40% of companies in the region are aware of the advantages of using this business tool, as compared to 95% in the US. It will also emphasize on how the world's leading Project and Portfolio Management solutions vendor, Oracle Primavera, enhances projects through products such as Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management, Primavera Contract Management, Primavera Earned Value Management, and Primavera Risk Analysis.

Primavera Risk Analysis, for example, provides a comprehensive tool for assessing the impact of project risks on schedule and budget, determining the confidence level of project success and preparing contingency and risk response plans.

Attendees will be entitled to four Professional Development Units (PDU) out of the 35 PDUs required for the Project Management Professional Certification Exam administered by CMCS on behalf of the Project Management Institute.
