Marhaba welcomes passengers at Terminal 3

Travellers arriving or departing from Terminal 3 can now enjoy traditional Arabic hospitality at the new Marhaba lounge, which was officially opened yesterday.

Ismail Ali Albanna, Executive Vice President of Dnata, said:

"18 years ago, Dnata set up the Marhaba service to give travellers to Dubai a taste of the traditional Arabic hospitality which is such an important part of our culture. The service was named Marhaba - the Arabic for welcome - to reflect the unique warmth and hospitality which lies at the heart of our customer promise."

Whether at the start or end of their journey, our customers can relax; knowing they'll be greeted by warm and friendly staff - and that all the hassle we associate with travel, like baggage, check-in and immigration, will be taken care of for them."

The Marhaba Lounge at Terminal 3 is available to all passengers departing from the terminal regardless of class of travel.

The lounge offers all the comforts you would associate with an airline Business Class lounge, including PCs with internet access, Wifi connectivity, telephone/fax facilities and data port access for laptop users, as well as a selection of Arabic and continental cuisine and a variety of hot and cold beverages while you relax and wait for your flight.

About Marhaba
Operated by Dnata and part of the Emirates group, Marhaba was launched in December 1991 as a premium meet and greet service for passengers travelling through Dubai International Airport.

The Marhaba service offers customers the comfort and luxury of being eased through the departure and arrival processes by friendly and efficient staff. Last year more than 200,000 customers used Marhaba services.

Terminal 3 Marhaba departure lounge
The Marhaba lounge is located at the east end of Level 4 on the north side of the concourse, close to gate 230. The entrance to the Marhaba lounge is via a dedicated elevator from Level 3 departures. The lounge provides the following services:

Business Centre: this fully equipped centre offers PCs with internet access, Wifi connectivity, telephone / fax facilities and data port access for laptop users.

Food and Beverages: serving a variety of hot meals, a choice between Arabic and continental menus, refreshments and hot and cold beverages
Buggy Cars: Where access is permitted by the Civil Aviation Authority, buggy cars are provided to take Marhaba Lounge visitors to the relevant boarding gate.
