Commenting on this unprecedented and pioneering national achievement, Mr. Faruk Mustafa Rasool, Asiacell Founder and Chairman of the Board, said:

"Since the beginning of Asiacell's journey, we have had our sights set on clear goals, the most important being the provision of easily accessible means of communication to the Iraqi people in all governorates. Today this goal has been achieved, constituting the first in a series of further achievements geared towards developing our nation's economy."

For his part, Dr. Diar Ahmed, Asiacell CEO, stated: "We are very pleased with this success, which would never have been possible had it not been for the sincere efforts of our exceptional team of professionals, who have dedicated their expertise to overcoming the challenges that Asiacell faces on a daily basis as a result of regular terrorist attacks and unstable security conditions throughout the country. Today Asiacell is at the forefront of Iraq's mobile telecom sector, having achieved its goal of becoming the first mobile telecom company to effectively bring its services to every Iraqi citizen wherever they may be."

This achievement comes directly after the recent announcement of Asiacell as one of the top-10 fastest growing mobile operators in the Middle East and Africa in a new study conducted by The Mobile World, a market data and analysis company focused exclusively on the mobile telecommunications sector. This milestone is a clear testament to the company's dedication to performing its nationalistic role in rebuilding Iraq and helping establish a strong Iraqi economic infrastructure, in addition to its commitment to expanding its scope of operations through serving new economic sectors and launching various internet and other services.
