  • PRESS RELEASE

Island Global Yachting (IGY), the marina developer and management company, has announced two exclusive Anchor Marina offers in celebration of their attendance at the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) held on 3rd-7th March 2009.

Any visitor or exhibitor at the show, who visits the IGY booth and fills out an Anchor Marina berthing enquiry form, will be given one weeks complimentary berthing at Anchor Marina, the first marina on Palm Jumeirah. In addition, any individual purchasing a vessel during the show will be guaranteed a berth at Anchor Marina based on certain terms and conditions.

Delivered in partnership with Nakheel, Anchor Marina - which will open in 2009 - represents one of IGY's most prestigious projects. The marina's 520 berths will provide private yachts, between 10-30m in length, modern infrastructural elements such as spacious concrete pontoons and some of the most modern technology available to boat owners, including LED illumination, underwater lighting, wireless internet connections and bespoke concierge services.

Michael Horrigan, CEO Middle East and Europe, IGY said:

"We are delighted to be offering this once in a lifetime opportunity at the Dubai International Boat Show. The Dubai International Boat Show is fast becoming one of the best maritime shows in the world, so it is a perfect opportunity for IGY to promote Anchor Marina, one of the world's most stunning marinas. Located on the iconic landmark Palm Jumeirah, Anchor Marina will propel Dubai onto the global stage as a yachting destination of choice."

The Dubai International Boat Show is the largest and most established event of its kind in the region. The exhibition, which runs between 3rd-7th of March 2009, is located at the Dubai International Marine Club, Mina Seyahi, U.A.E.

For complete terms and conditions of these offers, please visit the IGY booth LSS C2-1 at Dubai International Boat Show. IGY will also be giving regular tours of Anchor Marina during the show from 4.00pm-6.30pm, daily.
