Thuraya showcases mobile satellite streaming service at CABSAT Mena 2009

At the event, which is taking place from the 3rd to the 5th of March, Thuraya is providing live demonstrations of broadcast quality transmissions showing the speed and quality that can be achieved by media organizations and others operating in remote locations.

The solution was developed specifically for media reporters, producers and news crew requiring broadcast quality video and high speed data transmission.

In partnership with Quicklink, a well respected provider of broadcast media solutions, Thuraya's Streaming IP offering is built around ThurayaIP, an advanced broadband solution with rapid streaming capability. This provides the platform for providing broadcast quality video as well as data transmission in time critical and remote environments.
