Pyramedia sponsors Al Tawasel's Abu Dhabi Campaign for Social Cohesion 2009

The Campaign is under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Zayed Al Nahyan and is organized by the Al Tawasel Center for Training and Consultancy under the slogan Building a Family Building a Nation.

The campaign aims to build a community that cherishes the value of maintaining family stability, reduce the incidence of divorce and family disintegration, educate newly married couples to meet the challenges affecting marital stability, give couples the skills to solve marital conflicts and guide couples towards the experts in solving family problems.

Marital life has been threatened with many problems due to differing thoughts and lack of adequate marital life skills. Field studies have shown increasing rates of divorce in the first years of marriage, which affect the productivity of people and reflect their sense of instability and psychological insecurity.

Therefore, Al Tawasel for Training and Consultancy, in collaboration with some governmental departments have undertaken the National Campaign from March 8-18, 2009, to raise awareness of family integrity in society with the focus on young, newly married couples.

The Campaign is also sponsored by the Abu Dhabi Armed Forces, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abu Dhabi Electricity and Water Authority and the Abu Dhabi Ministry in addition to several more institutions and agencies.
