As per the agreement, the bank's customers and all passengers of Air Arabia can now utilise Dubai Bank's Internet, phone and SMS banking facilities, as well as Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and Cash Deposit Machines (CDMs) across the UAE to purchase their air tickets. This facility is available to all UAE residents.

"Dubai Bank is happy to partner with Air Arabia in integrating the airline's reservation system with our payment channels. This will greatly enhance convenience for customers who make airline ticket payments via our wide network of ATMs and CDMs, as well as through our state-of-the-art internet and mobile banking facilities," said Mohamed Amiri, Head of Retail Banking at Dubai Bank. "Within a short span of time, Air Arabia has grown to become a popular and practical choice of travel for many. We are confident that this partnership with the fast-growing airline will further enhance the value and ease to travellers and our customers alike."

Ali Al Hamdany, Director of IT and Corporate Projects, Air Arabia said, "Convenience and high service quality have always been hallmarks of Air Arabia's offerings. Through our new partnership with a reputed organisation such as Dubai Bank, we are raising the industry benchmark for accessibility and ease of payment methods for air travel. Our passengers come from diverse backgrounds and walks of life, but they all commonly seek time-efficient, speedy and flexible travel services. By widening the number of channels for them to complete their booking transaction for Air Arabia flights, we are significantly improving our value offerings and competitive edge."

Over the past few years, Dubai Bank has built a wide network of branches, ATMs and CDMs across the UAE. The bank introduced its electronic banking channels in 2007.
