Inquiries can now be made through live web chat with customer service executives Sunday to Thursday from 10am to 5pm. Customers need to login to the DNRD website www.dnrd.ae to gain access to the 'Quick Links' section and start a chat session with one of the highly trained customer service executives through the e-chat link.

Major General Al Marri, Director of DNRD said that the department plans to upgrade the 'Amer' service (literal translation from local Emirati dialect that means 'how can I help you?') from a free hotline information center to a culture of service excellence across the various sectors at DNRD.

The web chat option was introduced in mid February as part of the new communications channels offered by 'Amer', which also include the toll-free number 800-5111, fax number 3981177-04, the website www.amer.ae and the e-mail address amer@dnrd.ae.

Col. Lt. Khaled Al Rozooki, Assistant Director of DNRD for IT Sector said:

"Amer service gives us the opportunity to receive customers' suggestions, inquiries, notes and complaints and to reply to them in record time. This rapid process will help us maintain the highest levels of transparency and excellence in customer service while ensuring secure transactions. The launch of this innovative service reflects the objective of the DNRD management to improve services and provide customers with the latest technologies to simplify procedures. We are delighted to witness the success of 'Amer' service with its different media channels that aim to provide information, cut down application professing time and increase efficiently and professionalism."
