Mohammed Obaid Al Mulla, CEO of RTA Marine Agency, said:
"The Show is a maritime gathering event for exhibitors of boats, yachts and marine accessories."

Al Mulla added, "It is one of the biggest and most important expos in the field of marine accessories, showcasing the latest developments in yachts, boats and marine industry. Visitors are pinning high hopes in the Show as it exhibits latest technological advancements that contribute to upgrading yachts and boats manufacturing and enable operators to keep pace with the latest development in marine transport industry. The Agency is naturally keen to keep track of all new and excellent features in order to deliver excellent services at top quality standards to all segments of Dubai community."

Al Mulla stated, "The Show aims to achieve a host of objectives such as identifying the global companies specialized in building and manufacturing yachts and boats accessories. The Agency is ushering a new era in the field of water transport; noting that abras remained over a quarter of a century and are still a means of transporting passengers between the two shores of Dubai Creek. Viewing the highly sophisticated technological innovations in this field ensures that we remain in touch with the civilized drive of marine transport."

Marine Agency allocated two Water Buses to lift exhibitors and visitors during the period of the Show from the car park to the entrance of the Boat Show at Mina Seyahi, Dubai. The service runs from 10.30 am up to 10.30 pm with 10 minutes headway and the trip takes 7 minutes. Last year the number of passengers lifted during the period of the Show reached 12179 visitors. Marine Agency is taking part in this Show with the aim of enhancing the ongoing interactive communication with clients. It will also showcase some of its current and future services and provide brief accounts of the services that can save the time and effort of customers and deliver top quality services in accordance with the highest standards applicable in this regard.

He added,"The infrastructure of marine transport is quite extensive and diverse and during this Show we will focus on model motorized and rowing abras project. The new generation of these model heritage abras signals the start of a new phase in investing modern technology to maintain the heritage of the emirate. These abras are engaged in ferrying passengers between the two shores of Dubai Creek in accordance with an integrated system that ensures marine security and safety, thanks to the equipment fitted to this generation in a way set to increase the productive capacity."

"We will also be showcasing Security and Safety Service (SSS) Project; which is considered one of the key projects highlighted by the RTA for its role in upgrading marine safety services and as a means of realizing the vision of the RTA of providing safe and smooth transport for all. The Project provides a unique and distinguished service at the local, regional and global levels with a view to realize the comprehensive concepts of marine safety. SSS Project programmes are suitable for training and good for academic as well as applied purposes; and therefore they rank high to take leading global position," stated Al Mulla.

"Also among the projects to be showcased is the Inspection Boats Project. Such boats are used to inspect the locations of Jet Ski activities with the aim of streamlining the navigational traffic of jet skis. It is important to monitor this service, whether delivered by corporate or individual operators, to uphold the security and safety practices pursued by the RTA, and to bring them in line with the international standards applicable in the field of marine security and safety. RTA will also exhibit posters and photos of the Water Taxi and Ferry Dubai; the two projects which are bound to bring about a shift in the quality of marine mass transit services across the Middle East. Ferry Dubai boasts sophisticated technical specifications to ensure rendering of classy services to commuters across all areas and waterfronts inside and outside Dubai Creek," said Al Mulla in a final remark.
