H.H. Sheikh Hasher opens CABSAT MENA and Satellite MENA

His Highness Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, Director General, Dubai Department of Information, today opened the 15th CABSAT MENA Exhibition and the inauguration of Satellite MENA Exhibition in Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Organised by Dubai World Trade Centre, the premiere industry events for digital media and satellite communications sectors welcomed more than 650 exhibitors, while day one's visitors' turnout was significant. Both events will run until 5th March.

The third largest regional industry event globally, CABSAT has been growing from strength to strength in delivering quality visitors to exhibitors. CABSAT 2008 had a total of 650 exhibiting companies from 50 countries and received over 9,300 visitors from over 100 countries.

Entering into its 15th year, CABSAT MENA is the ideal platform for companies wanting to gain an edge over their competitors. All the more so in the MENASA region, face to face relationships are critical to successful business dealings.
