Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates promotes Chef Idin Asmitha to Executive Sous Chef within its team

With over 15 years experience in some of the world's finest hotel establishments, Chef Idin Asmitha will take the reigns as the newly promoted Executive Sous Chef at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates.

An essential member of the talented team of culinary experts at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates since its opening three years ago, Chef Idin has worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the hotel's exceptional dining outlets and was instrumental in the evolution of Sezzam, especially focussing his talents and flair on 'Steam', one of Sezzam's most popular kitchens.

Chef Kjell Kollin, Executive Chef, Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, said:

Born in Bandung Indonesia, Idin has spent many years perfecting his expertise working within a collection of five-star hotel chains such as Four Seasons, Hilton Hotels and Hotel Indonesia Kempinski (Jakarta), before joining Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates.

There are many facets to Idin's distinguished career, having accumulated extensive skills and knowledge in Asian and Western cuisine. Idin's ambitious and dynamic attitude has seen him progress to a leader in his field.

Idin is also recognised as a Senior Member of the Emirates Culinary Guild and frequently participates in the creation of new menus for a major German airline.
