The EB-1725 offers enhanced versatility, functionality and usability to support professional, hassle-free presentations.

The EB-1725 weighs 1.8kg, and a newly designed carry-case makes taking the projector on the road easier than ever before. Easy installation is ensured through a 'direct power on' feature, a six second start-up time, Autokeystone correction and a 3-in-1 USB connection, guaranteeing fast and hassle-free setup. The 3-in-1 USB display function combines image, sound and control functions through just one cable, reducing unsightly wires and speeding up the installation process.

Once installed, a number of new features in the projector help to remove the hassle from presenting. A repositioned front exhaust means hot air is not directed back towards the audience but discreetly forwards towards the screen. A high quality short throw lens enables a large screen size to be created at a short throw proximity (0.98-1.2 :1 throw ratio ), with the flexibility to offer crisp, sharp images at a variety of distances. Further, Epson's unique 3LCD technology also ensures extraordinary image clarity and colour fidelity.

The high-end EB-1725 incorporates Epson's exclusive EasyMP technology. This offers enhanced network functionality and allows multi-screen display functionality, enabling up to four projectors to be connected wirelessly to present from just one computer, thus creating larger, panoramic or split-screen displays. Wireless connectivity has also been enhanced with the 'Quick Wireless Connection' feature, which enables users to gain a wireless connection in seconds by simply plugging the USB wireless device included with the projector into a PC.

Other innovative design features of the EB-1700 series models include full compatibility with the Windows Vista Network Projector function, which enables full PC to projector functionality in just three clicks of a mouse.

As with all Epson products, environmental performance has been a primary consideration in the EB-1725, making it extremely energy efficient. The low-energy standby mode consumes just 5.5W of power, while Epson's E-TORL lamp achieves 3000ANSI lumens using just a 170W lamp. A slender, stylish chassis ensures the projector looks as good as it performs, without compromising on durability.

Khalil El Dalu, General Manager, Epson Middle East, said:
"The EB-1725 has been engineered to meet the demands of the modern professional; supporting fast, stress-free and smart presentations wherever you are. The projector combines a number of Epson's unique and pioneering innovations in projector manufacturing to offer industry-leading performance, and we expect to see major demand for this projector in the region."
