- PRESS RELEASE
Juniors, the regional retailer of children's products from baby basics, nursery furniture, prams, toys to fashion clothing has launched its sunny new Spring Summer collection.
Juniors fully appreciates that summertime is a fun and frolic time for children when cool and comfortable clothing is almost a necessity. Reflecting the children's high spirits during this season, 'Juniors' new collection seems to exude energy in terms of its bright colours, vibrant detailing, cool styling and tasteful prints. From toddlerhood to the teens, Juniors offers an assorted mix of exclusive designs, styles and prints. To complete and enhance the look, Juniors stores also offer a wide variety of accessories and toys.
The new Juniors collection features colours reminscent of the earth's closest star such as orange popsicle, russet orange, spectra yellow, formula one red amongst others. The cool colours within the spectrum include blue daphne, aquarius, greenery and amazon. Whites such as birch and greys such as mélange grey create a fun interplay of contrasting colours. Fabrics that dominate the season's collection are the 'easy on skin' types. Jersey, poplin, voile, lycra, denim and linen.
As if extending the "sunny side up proposition", all other brands at Juniors seem to have followed suit. Maui & Sons Beachwear is all about spending a pleasant day on a sun-kissed beach with translucent blue ocean waves rushing ashore. Themes such as Surf Addict, Cartoon Tonic and Graphic Fix seem to dwell on the boys, while Maui Princess and Hyped Girl depict the girls' line. Colourful stripes, check designs and polka dots dominate the prints. Fluorescent greens crisscross with dark pinks, while sun soaked yellows sail cozily beside marine blues to create a perfect beach mood.
The new Barbie collection in Juniors stores for this Spring Summer is all about embracing the pretty doll look. "The new line reflects sweetness and innocence that epitomises young Barbie loving girls. Summer flowers in soft pinks, white and blue sailor stripes and a rainbow full of joyous, bright colours is the coolest way to discover children's world. The Barbie 2009 Summer Girls Collection harks back to the joy of seventies where loose flowing dresses with summer floral prints were dominant. Shiny white touches spotlight the innocence of young girls.
Meanwhile, Napolean's boy's collection is loaded with a dynamic spirit: From high school type shirts, comfortable shorts and navy blue trousers to small embroidered or appliqued varsity badges these share the same athletic soul. This combination of styles offers the look of the little champions immortalizing moments of joy.
The new Disney collection in Juniors stores features comfortable leggings in greys, blues, blacks and yellows. Tops for girls feature citrus orange, egg yolk yellow, pomegranate maroon and aqua blue. Belts, watches, hair accessories and jewellery complement the new collection. True to its spirit, the new collection also highlights all time favourite Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Cinderella amongst others on girls' tops.
Whist Juniors' new fashion collection pays tribute to outdoor sports and fun activities, it creates a veritable Summer Wonderland where children engage in physically stimulating sports. Such activity creates euphoria and camaraderie. And that is what 'Fun in the Sun' is all about - wellbeing and friendship. To imbibe any of these wholesome moods, walk into Juniors located at Centrepoint showrooms at Al Rai, Fahaheel, Kuwait City, Salmiya, Hawally and Jahra Co-op and indulge in sunny dreams as these will surely come true.
