The Alternative Energy Capital Markets Day 2009 will take place on March 23rd, 2009, at the Capital Club in Dubai. The conference will introduce the top technology leaders in solar and wind power from Germany, Austria and Switzerland to an exclusive circle of investors from the GCC. The conference is by complimentary invitation only.

The Alternative Energy Capital Markets Day offers a first-hand opportunity for investors in the GCC to learn about recent developments in the renewable energy sector in Europe and the GCC and to discuss them within an exclusive circle of investors and decision makers. The conference is a highly efficient way to receive an overview of all leading German companies in only one day (especially new perspectives in the equity story in the light of the current macroeconomic environment and the trend towards renewable solutions). The conference is an excellent opportunity to identify potential investment/joint venture opportunities.

The CEOs of 12 leading companies will present their business model and equity story to an investor audience from the GCC. An industry panel featuring CEOs from MAN Ferrostaal/Solar Millennium, QCells, Averda and others will discuss the alternative energy markets potential in the GCC. The investor panel will explore motives and frameworks for investing in alternative energy. Speakers will come from Good Energies, Gulf Capital, Istithmar and Gulf One Investment Bank and Taylor Wessing.
