Qurum City Centre opens 'Fun City'
- Oman: Saturday, March 07 - 2009 at 15:12
- PRESS RELEASE
Qurum City Centre's 'Fun City', the recently opened attraction where a resident fairground is allowing customers to mix in a variety of fun outdoor entertainment with their shopping, has been proving to be popular with the Centre's visitors.
Favourite attractions include the relatively sedate trains and merry-go-rounds that keep the little ones happy, to the more adventurous white knuckle roller-coaster rides for older thrill seekers, many of whom can be heard screaming with a mixture of delight and fear as their hearts are put through their paces. There is also plenty on offer for those who would prefer to keep their feet firmly on terra firma, as there are a host of stalls and arcades where all sorts of prizes can be won, especially if the player is a keen shot with a good eye for the target.
Hassan Jaboub, Mall Manager at Qurum City Centre, expressed his delight at having the popular attraction set up shop at his premises. "Fun City is definitely proving to be a big hit with visitors to the mall," he said.
"It's the first time we've offered this kind of entertainment and it means that visitors can add a fun outdoor experience to complement their indoor shopping activities," he added.
As if any incentive were actually needed to visit Fun City, Qurum City Centre is offering a free voucher to be redeemed at its food court for spents at the attraction. "We wanted to give our valued customers something special when they come and try out the entertainments on offer at Fun City," said Mr. Jaboub.
"They certainly won't go hungry if they spend a few hours there, as they will be able to earn themselves a meal from our food court after they have finished," he added. "And if the young ones want to continue the fun while the adults eat, they can make use of the new 'Kiddy' rides that we have just installed at the food court - another first for Qurum City Centre," he continued.
