Lecture on Supplier's Performance in Aramco

Mr. Baig is the "Group Business Process reengineering Manager" of Abdulla Fouad Holding. He is also the President of Middle East Quality Management Professionals (Largest group of Quality Professionals in the region). The topic of the presentation was "Critical Concerns in Supplier Performance Evaluation".

The gist of the presentation was to apply the 80/20 and 1-10-100 rule in supplier's performance. He explained that the focus of our evaluation should be on high impact suppliers, with high spend, who are really partnering with us to satisfy our customers. He also explained how to compare performances by measuring Price, Delivery, Quality, and Service using tools such as Scorecards, Automated Metrics, and SCM Event Management Software. He also mentioned not to forget reward high performing suppliers since they did their part in helping our mission.
