Dulsco supports people of Gaza with donation of ambulances to UAE Red Crescent

The ambulances were handed over at a ceremony held at the Dulsco head office on March 05, 2009.

Mohammed Abdullah Alhaj Al Zaroni, Manager, UAE Red Crescent, Dubai Branch said, "Over the years Dulsco has actively contributed to various humanitarian efforts that Red Crescent has been involved in. Also, ever since the Gaza conflict began, several Dulsco employees have been volunteering to segregate, pack and load the donations we have been receiving for the victims. We thank Dulsco for their latest contribution; the new ambulances will prove extremely useful during relief efforts in Gaza."

Dulsco - which had donated Dhs1m to the Dubai Cares Campaign last year - also announced that it is extending its support as sponsor of the Al Noor Fun Fair being organised by the Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs on March 6, 2009, Al Barsha, Dubai.

Abdul Aziz Mohammad Khan Abdulla, Chairman, Dulsco said, "Corporate social responsibility has been and will always be a priority at Dulsco, and this is something that we instil in our employees from the very beginning. We are pleased to make an ongoing contribution to various initiatives that will help the local community, and I thank all our employees for volunteering in these efforts."

John Neale, Managing Director, Dulsco, said, "Donating these fully-equipped ambulances to the UAE Red Crescent is the least we can do for the people of Gaza. We hope that Dulsco's efforts contribute in bringing smiles back to the people in the affected area."
