Through a series of three separate but interlinked presentations, titled 'FISH: Innovative Leadership' and recently released 'CATS,' Dr. Lundin will share his powerful, personal and authentic messages with the Municipal Directors to awaken them to the possibilities that already exist in the municipality, every workplace, every home and every life.

H.E. Rashed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Chairman of the Department of Municipal Affairs, said:
"This second Executive Seminar is part of a successful ongoing series of intensive sessions that have been really effective in bridging our collective mandates while making our vision and mission more a reality and doable with the enhancement of systematical and personal tools from some very renowned professionals, organizations or institutions who have applied them in other markets. The more connected our municipal senior team are in active knowledge sharing and team building exercises, the more unified and effective they will become in addressing solutions of the challenges while enhancing the municipal system."

Lundin's 'New York Times Best Seller' and FISH philosophy is a global business phenomenon, which has helped many thousands of organizations turn workplace fun and frivolity into serious productivity and organizational achievement. This foundational seminar and presentation will focus on specific questions and practical answers as to how lessons learned might be applied from previous experiences to "today's challenges" of leading and managing Abu Dhabi's rapidly expanding and progressively demanding municipal organizations.

On day three the Executives Directors get a much highly requested and in demand presentation of Dr. Lundin's new book, 'CATS: The Nine Lives of Innovation,' which helped DMA leaders understand the rationale for the activities that provoke innovative ideas, and brings the practices of innovation to life. Specifically, CATS discusses the challenges to innovation (i.e. fear of making a mistake) and then provides a structure for the universe of personal innovation - where it all begins.

H.E. Engineer Ahmed Al Shareef, Undersecretary of the Department of Municipal Affairs stated: "The Department of Municipal Affairs Executive Director's offsite retreat program which launched in November 2008 and conducted quarterly, is designed to provide Abu Dhabi Emirates municipal leadership direct access to internationally renowned lecturers and industry leaders for the purpose of learning, first hand, from highly accomplished professionals who have successfully (or unsuccessfully) handled similar challenges facing our Directors, today."

Conducting strategic seminars for the Municipalities and related government bodies is a key priority of the Department of Municipal Affairs as they work towards developing a consistent process for collaboration between government entities, to continue encouraging transparency and promoting a sense of responsibility and overall coordination across all sectors.
