Trikke anticipates that consumers, municipalities, resorts and other vertical markets will view the TRIKKE uPT as a breakthrough product because it can easily be used for commuter transportation, staff and security mobility on large properties, destination tours and recreation. As well, it is a green transportation choice and extremely lightweight, requires very little mainten! ance, and is easily collapsible for transport and storage.

With its corrosion-free, 3-point cambering, aluminum frame, the TRIKKE uPT is capable of reaching 30 KPH and traveling up to 30 kilometers on a single charge. The hot-swap, lithium ion battery is compact, lightweight and includes a key lock and LED charge indicator. The rider can optionally go faster and further by "carving" - a fluid (and some say "addictive") motion that propels the vehicle forward. Even if the battery should be drained completely, the rider can still propel it for many kilometers in this smooth carving fashion. The motion delivers a sensation much like that experienced by skiers when they are carving down the slopes. This sensation can now be experienced by all - in all parts of the world.

"It is fortunate that we are introducing the TRIKKE uPT at a time when the world is aggressively seeking clean transportation alternatives. Consumers, municipalities and corporations are looking for ways to participate in cleaner transportation technologies. The United Arab Emirates is a natural market for this launch because the area has quickly become world-renown for deploying breakthrough ideas in urban development. The Trikke uPT is the first personal transporter that can legitimately be used for commuting, exercise and recreation by all. In the Bond Group we have found a partner that has access to the right entities and boundless ideas for this important launch, as well as a genuine excitement and connection to the sensation of carving down the road. Together we are looking to achieving success in various vertical markets such as airports, ports, municipalities, oil and gas sector, resorts, malls, parks. It is perfect for uses for security personnel, parking enforcement staff as well as personal."

said John Simpson, Trikke's CEO.

The TRIKKE uPT is a zero carbon emission vehicle that is not only green but also enhances physical fitness in a low impact manner. The uPT can also be easily ridden without wrinkling or soiling the rider's suit, skirt or local dress.

"Trikke uPT is the perfect vehicle for all. It encourages green transportation, health and well-being for both the self and the community at large. We are very excited about our partnership with Trikke Tech, the inventor of this extraordinary human/electrically powered vehicle with an outlook to start a UAE assembly facility that will allow the product to enter the region with fully backed-up commercial and technical support and advantage for the neighboring countries and beyond," added Nicholas W. Mobayed, president and CEO of the Bond Group.

"We are just at the lifecycle starting line for TRIKKE uPT and the product roadmap is very exciting in terms of new features and product extensions," said Gildo Beleski, Trikke founder, Chairman and Chief Designer. "It is good to see that Trikke has found such an enthusiastic partner in Bond, and such a perfect launch market in the UAE."
