Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa hosts England Sevens rugby team

Among the England Sevens was the star Ben Gollings, who plays a half fly position. Ben has been involved with the England Sevens team since 1999 and has played in two commonwealth games, and the Rugby World Cup seven in 2005. His conversion helped England win their record forth consecutive victory in Hong Kong in 2006.

Ben and the Sevens team arrived at the Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa for a training camp and have been practicing regularly at the Jebel Ali International Centre of Excellence.

Taking time out from his demanding training schedule, he shared his experience of Dubai and the award-winning Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa where he stayed. "The resort is fantastic. We had direct access to all the facilities, such as training at the beach, in the sea, the swimming pools in addition to many more activities which made our time productive, fun and relaxing." He also commented on the training facilities and said "we went every day to the Jebel Ali International Centre of Excellence for training twice a day; it is close to the resort and practical."

The Jebel Ali International Centre of Excellence regularly hosts top professional teams and as a professional rugby player the star had some valuable advice for children who want to become professional rugby players. "Always keep enjoying it but in the same time combine it with hard work and always ask questions."
