2009 Jeep Patriot waving flag for affordable quality

The instrument panel has been given a superior smoother look while new circular HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) vents are surrounded by tasteful chrome. The centre console now has a split lid to boost storage space and as with the door trim its arm rests have more padding for increased comfort.

To reduce noise and give the newest Jeep Patriot a quieter ride, engine compartment and interior floor insulation has been added. In addition, tuning improvements to the engine exhaust further reduce noise in the interior.

All models now feature a carpeted boot floor and premium floor mats and there are new sound systems. Standard on Sport models is a single-disc CD radio with AUX and MP3 capability while Limited versions get a six-disc CD radio, again with AUX and MP3 capability.

New on Jeep Patriot Limited is the optional Technology Group - Jeep's state-of-the-art vehicle infotainment system, consisting of uconnect GPS, uconnect phone, UCI and the premium Boston Acoustics sound system.

All Patriots come with a long list of standard features including Jeep's revolutionary 4x4 system, electric windows, front and side-curtain airbags, 17 inch aluminium wheels, ABS and ESP with Electronic Roll Mitigation.

Along with a competitive price and Jeep's legendary off-road ability, excellent fuel economy also comes as standard.

Utilising state-of-the-art design software and computer modelling processes, Chrysler interior designers are able to achieve quality, fit and finish objectives faster than ever before.

Implementation of the Advance Interior Design Studio has enabled Chrysler to engage suppliers, in some cases, up to a year earlier allowing for more time allocated toward customer research, feature offerings and material selection.

The Advance Interior Design Studio staffs a team of dedicated, customer-focused, interior-centric designers and engineers who encompass a wide array of skills and look to outside sources such as architecture, furniture, industrial and fashion design and nature for inspiration.
