3M Unitek symposium brings top orthodontists to Dubai

3M welcomed orthodontists from around the world to Dubai for the 3M Unitek symposium, which began this morning at Grand Hyatt.

3M dental leaders and international experts addressed the delegates on the 'Future of intelligent Orthodontics" delving into the latest in orthodontic technologies and techniques. World renowned dentist Dr. Dirk Wiechmann, the developer behind Incognito - commonly known as 'invisible' braces -will be holding a two-day certification training programme for orthodontists looking to be trained in this new technology, as part of the event.

Dima Zein, Business Leader of 3M Unitek in the Middle East, said:
"The symposium offers a holistic overview of the current and future trends in orthodontics and at 3M we are delighted to be bringing so many industry stakeholders together. The orthodontic industry has made significant advances in the last few years with regards to technologies - that are more efficient than ever, with a special focus on aesthetics."


"With the growing level of adult interest in having good teeth, we expect more focus on these new technologies , that cater to those adults who previously rejected orthodontic treatment," concluded Zein.
