City Safety, a standard feature in the New Volvo XC60, stops the car preventing any collision with the car in front in case the driver doesn't react quickly enough. When discussing with Takafuliyah Insurance Brokers, they decided to drop the Volvo XC60's premium by 40% because of the exceptional City Safety feature that is unique to the XC60."

Beiruty added, "We want to thank Takafuliyah Insurance Brokers for their collaboration with us and we are looking forward to maintain this healthy and esteemed relationship with them. We are also negotiating this deal with several Insurance companies in the GCC."

Ghassan Amin Abed Al Baki, Head of Car Department in Takafuliyah Insurance commented, "We are delighted to collaborate with Volvo on this matter. This car is exceptional therefore every purchaser of the XC60 will receive a 40% decrease on the insurance premium under the condition that the vehicle price range is between 10,000 and 12,500 Kuwaiti Dinar ; with the terms and conditions that apply."

Volvo Cars Middle East launched the new Volvo XC60 in January 2009. Volvo Cars' in-house developed unique technology for avoiding low-speed collisions in city traffic and tailbacks. This City Safety feature in combination with the recently introduced Collision Warning with Auto Brake means that Volvo Cars can now offer functions for auto-braking at all speeds.

This car is a new language design by Volvo which will surely witness great success in the region, as it is so far the safest car ever built.
