Damas launches exceptional Gerald Charles watch brand in Dubai

Damas, the retailer of stylish watches and jewellery in the Middle East, launched Gerald Charles watch brand in Dubai recently.

The brand owes its success to its remarkable maestro designer and owner Gerald Genta. A legendary and unique watchmaker, Genta has left an indelible mark on each stage in the company's development. Free of any material constraints, the master lives his two passions - haute horlogerie and painting - to the full, giving rise to a unique style eloquently displayed in the Gérald Charles timepieces. But while the artist is alone in front of his canvas, he is careful to surround himself with the finest craftsmen in order to ensure that each watch creation is distinguished by its design, its precision, and its originality.

On the launch of the brand in Dubai, Gerald Genta raved: "Among the numerous values associated with luxury, one is particularly in tune with the Gérald Charles brand: exclusivity. Rather than opting for high-volume production, we have chosen to focus on non-confirms and inventiveness. The brand therefore offers its customers models in limited and sometimes ultra-limited quantities when it comes to exceptional creations. The brand devotes the same meticulous care to conceiving, developing and producing original timepieces. The collections, intended for a variety of customer groups, are structured into three categories and are all governed by the same concern for excellence.

Prêt à Porter:



This range presents elegant or sophisticated masculine watches comprising the Round 44 Sliding hour and Turbo.

Haute Couture:



This line consists of Grandes Complications models. This year, it is being enriched with a splendid and outstandingly technical skeleton-worked chrono tourbillon. This collection also encompasses new complications that are based on the famous square or 'carrée' shape typical of the Genta spirit.

Tailor-made:



The brand has cultivated a unique relationship with its loyal clientele that has nabled Gérald Charles to design and provide tailor-made creations. These one-of-a-kind models, specially commissioned by demanding customers, are one of the brand's specific assets.

The new collection of Gerald Charles watches will soon be available at select Damas Les Exclusive Boutiques in Dubai.
