Versar, Inc. conducts important infrastructure training in Iraq

Versar, Inc. announced that it has completed a three day training exercise in Iraq for the Multi-National Security Transition Command (MNSTC), Iraq's J7 Engineering directorate.

This training exercise highlighted the commitment between the governments of the United States and Iraq in improving the infrastructure and capabilities of the Iraq Security Forces during the critical transition from Coalition to Iraqi-led operations in support of a secure and stable Iraq. It reinforced the goal of allowing Iraqis to train Iraqis in the near future.

Dr. Ted Prociv, President and CEO of Versar said, "As a company, we are proud of our commitment and work for the United States' Re-building mission in Iraq. This training mission is another example of our ongoing effort to assist Iraqis to be more self-sufficient in the future. We believe that as the United States' role changes in Iraq, Versar will expand its efforts in the coming years."
