The four-day exercise was attended by many establishments, companies and government departments and organizations.
The expedition was held in Dubai for the first time, as DQG held 3 of such program at the UK last year. The program uses "European Foundation for Quality Management" Excellence Model as the basis for the program.
Dr. Wafi Dawood, Board Chairman of DQG, said:
"It was decided to hold this program in Dubai in recognition of its pioneering role in the area of quality management."
"The program focused on upgrading the level of business excellence in local establishments and improving the skills and experiences of working staff in the filed of customer relation and trained them to adopt the concepts of quality and excellence to achieve the best results in customer service," said Dr. Wafi.
The program also focused on the presentation of the best practices applied in customer service to help them create new ideas to be applied in future strategic plans in their establishments.
The participants visited Dubai Municipality and Dubai Healthcare City and got acquainted with work progress on transactions related to customer relation and the best practices applied in this field.
DM was awarded many prestigious awards for its various contributions to society either through its projects or through the value added by its distinguished employees.
Ali Fadhlani, the Chairman of Benchmarking Subgroup and the organiser of Benchmarking Programs at Dubai Holding, facilitated the whole program.
As he thanked Dubai Municipality and Dubai Healthcare City for accepting this initiative and presenting their practices in customer relation, he emphasized on benchmarking program major goal for participated organizations which is to improve their customer relation. He promised that the subgroup will continue such organizing such activities in future and with different entities.
Engineer Mohammad Ali Al Ayoubi, Director - Commercial and Customer Services at Dubai Healthcare City, spoke of the key goal of establishing such a healthcare city.
He said the main objective of the city is to create an integrated healthcare environment that offers clinical and wellness services, medical education and research within a quality framework that puts a strong emphasis on patient safety and clinical outcomes at par with international benchmarks.
A workshop on summarizing the visits, identifying best practices and setting action plans was also held on the last day.
All participants stressed the importance of this program, as they wish to make a positive change at their establishments.
