Amadeus Middle East appoints new Sales Engineer

Amadeus, a leading provider of technology to the travel and tourism industry, today announced the appointment of Naqqash Jaleel as Sales Engineer for Travel Office Products and Services, Amadeus MEA.

The position based out of Amadeus' regional Hub in Dubai, will involve key role in the sales process, integrating functional and technical expertise with consultative selling skills.

Jaleel will work in close partnership with local customers to understand their business drivers and technical requirements and recommend products and services that can support and benefit the customer's unique business model.

Reporting to Eric Bézard, Senior Manager, Business Solutions, Middle East & Africa, Jaleel will also be responsible for providing direct support to Amadeus sales channels and analyze new market opportunities and challenges.

Commenting on the appointment, Fernando Cuesta, Executive Director for Amadeus MEA said, "Jaleel's experience and understanding of the local market will greatly benefit our sales network and regional clients. He has demonstrated great leadership and project management skills and with his background in the travel industry we are confident of delivering consistent level of services to our travel partners in the Middle East."

Jaleel previous work experience includes successful stint with the Al Shamel Group of Companies, where his most recent role was that of a Business Systems Coordinator for Carlson Wagonlit Travel, an independently owned and operated agency by Al Shamel International in the UAE.

Jaleel has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire, UK and is a Member of the Project Management Institute, USA
