Global BMW sales fall 24.4%

  • Wednesday, March 11 - 2009 at 09:09

Global sales of BMW cars fell 24.4% in February to 80,453 vehicles, the company said. The Mini brand recorded an even sharper decline, but the drop was due in part to the late March roll-out of the next generation Mini Cabrio. Last week, rival Mercedes-Benz Cars posted a 25.4% dip in February sales to 72,200 vehicles.
