Held by TSC every month, the Arts and Crafts Souk is steadily growing in popularity, with more than 9,000 visitors turning up for the previous edition in February, which was held on the sidelines of the DSF 2009 festivities.
Pierre Issa, Director for Operations, Sharaf Group said
"The Arts and Crafts Souk has evolved to become an integral part of Times Square Center and is attracting thousands of visitors each month who appreciate the true value of hand crafted products. Moreover, the souk serves as a platform for UAE-based artisans to showcase their creations and talent, which we believe is crucial to boost their creativity."
The stalls featuring the works of members of the ARTE group are a major highlight during the Souk. The ARTE stalls will feature handmade items like decorations, individualist pieces of jewellery, accessories, artwork and photography.
Demonstrations will also be made in knitting and embroidery by ARTE members.
