Mawarid Finance and Ajman Businesswomen Council to organize discussion forum on 24th March

Engineer Aisha Khalfan bin Badr, Chairman of Ajman Businesswomen Council said that the council is keen to work with all institutions that support small and medium enterprises in a manner that enhances the council's portfolio in this regard for engaging in the council's activities more national businesswomen whether in Ajman or other emirates.

The chairman indicated the council's initiative made last January which caused the signing of the cooperation agreement with Mawarid Finance Group of Companies, saying that such agreement aims at an established investment environment for the support and development of SMEs in the emirate through making available more finance facilities for members of the council at a time of dreadful lack of credit available from banks.

Ajman Businesswomen Council is now preparing to organize a discussion forum with Mawarid Finance to be held at Ajman Kempinski on March 24th at 4:00 p.m. The forum will address the concept of Islamic finance and the role played by government and private organizations in giving support to small entrepreneurs and raising awareness about investment opportunities. Among attendees will be representatives of the Ministry of Labor, Ajman Labor Department, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Department of Economic Development, Department of Planning and Municipalities, Khalifa Fund to Support and Develop Small & Medium Enterprises, Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders, Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, Saud bin Saqr Programme for Young Business Leaders, Entrepreneurs Forum, Sharjah Establishment for Support of Pioneering Projects (RUWAD), Talal Abu Ghazala International as well as legal and sharia experts.

"The concept of community solidarity is one of the top priorities for Mawarid Finance and this led to many cooperation agreements followed by discussion forums with all SMEs sponsors and supporters including Khalifa Fund, Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment and Saud bin Saqr Establishment; these forums in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah were attended by more than 3000 nationals. We will continue providing various financing programs in order to meet the needs of the whole community,"
