S.S. Lootah to support 'Celebrate Canada in Dubai'

The reception for the Artists of 'Celebrate Canada in Dubai' will be held at the Fairmont Dubai on March 11th.

'Celebrate Canada! 2009' is an initiative under the patronage of the embassy of Canada in Abu Dhabi and the consulate of Canada in Dubai, headed by H.E. Sara S. Hradecky, the Ambassador of Canada to the UAE, as the honourary Chairperson of the event committee.

The visual artists include internationally acclaimed names such as Karen Lorena Parker, Michael Bray, Nadine Lama, Tanya Slingsby , Marie-Josee Primeau and Gilles Leblanc, all of whom have a strong presence in the Middle-East with many of their works focusing on typical Middle-East based themes. Some of these works will be displayed at the event. The musicians that will be part of this event are Michel Desjardins, an accomplished pianist and Me lane, a well-known vocalist who has been performing in a duo with Michel Desjardins for the last six years.
