The award, which is given each month for a newly introduced Visa card on the market within the Middle East, Africa and Central Europe region recognised the card's modern feel and reflects its goal to provide its customers with innovative products and services.

Ajman Bank, which aims to provide customers with the latest in design and technology, is strongly committed to offering customers an exceptional service to match.

The Bank hopes to set itself apart from other banks by bringing back that human touch that is so often lacking in modern banking. The Visa award shows that the bank can remain faithful to its promise of a great service whilst keeping up with modern trends. The card has been particularly popular with younger generations to whom contemporary styles and techniques are central to the choice of other high-end products such as mobile phones, laptops and other devices.

Commenting on the Visa Award, Maruf Ahmed, Head of Retail Banking said, "The team at Ajman Bank are very proud to have received an award for the design of the Visa Platinum card. Winning the Visa award reflects our commitment to providing our customers with excellent banking services throughout all our activities, even down to the tiniest of details such as the design of our bank cards."

Kamran Siddiqi, Visa's General Manager for the Middle East, said that card design trends are constantly changing and evolving and the Visa CEMEA Best Card Design competition is a way of ensuring the best from around the region get the recognition they deserve.

"We see over 150 possible card designs every month, from all over the CEMEA region - each one individual, each one special and each one something that a cardholder would be pleased to carry and use at point of sale. In this case we judged that the Ajman Bank Visa Platinum card was the most unique, fresh and innovative of the designs submitted in January and I'd like to congratulate them on what is a significant achievement," Siddiqi added.

The design and award of the Visa Plattinum card is not however just a matter of style. The work that has gone into the card is a representation of the Bank's promise that it will, in all its various functions, deliver the highest quality to its customers. The Bank ensures this through sourcing the best people and technology in the industry. The award won is testament to the fact that Ajman Bank is successfully fulfilling its promise.
