Dubai TV to boast new brand identity from 15 March

Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI), one of the pioneering media organizations and creative services group in the Middle East, announced Dubai TV, the group's leading channel, will sport a new identity starting Sunday 15 March following a strategic rebranding exercise.

In the new look, the channel will assume a dynamic appearance, in addition to innovative and modern ideas for the channel breaks that will sport a more youthful appearance.

The new identity was unveiled during a workshop at the DMI Headquarters Training Centre led by Abdullatif Al Gergawi, General Manager of Dubai TV, in the presence of presenters, directors, and media members from select entertainment publications.

As part of the rebranding initiative, the existing bouquet of programming on Dubai TV will also undergo a total revamp, reflecting the channel's keenness to cater to a wide variety of contemporary viewers even while paying adequate attention to local sensitivities.

Abdullatif Al Gergawi, said:
"The new look at Dubai TV aims to reflect the channel's status as a progressive and much-admired media platform for local, regional and international viewers. In addition, it will strengthen its position as a leading provider of quality programmes. We will continue our committed endeavour to offer our viewers the best-ever television viewing experience, as we strive hard to cater to the demands of a discerning audience with our unique and innovative offerings."


Dubai TV's programming is varied and includes coverage of news, sports, finance and business, in addition to family shows. A pioneer in the field of satellite broadcasting in the Arab world, Dubai TV holds the credit of being the first station in the region to telecast its programming via satellite to Europe and North America.
