Holiday Inn Dubai - Al Barsha adds a low calorie option to its dining experience

If your girth means the earth to you and you have always found yourself reaching for the measuring tape after you had a good meal, it is time to shrink your worries and waist by doing the one thing that really helps - eating healthy.
The Powwer Eat Options are specially designed low calorie yet high taste meal options. Co-created by well-known nutritionist Ahlam Ali from Powwer and Chef Sameh from Holiday Inn Dubai - Al Barsha, it will be available at three specialty restaurants - The Royal Buddha, Xennya and The Gem Garden at Holiday Inn Dubai. Says Ahlaam, 'Eaten as part of the Powwer Eat healthy eating programme, these meals empower you to enjoy a fabulous meal within the calorie budget allowed on your personalized eating plan.'
The Powwer set menu will be available for dinner and allows you to tuck into your favourite foods like Grilled Cherry Tomato Stuffed with Feta Cheese knowing fully well that it just contributes a measly 30 calories to your dietary regimen.
For your main course you can opt between the delectable Xennya Djaj (Oven roasted chicken breast with garlic and fresh herbs served with a selection of roasted garden vegetables) which ticks the calorie counter at 75 or the Kebab Halabi (Char-grilled seasoned mined lamb with chopped onion, Arabic parsley, chopped garlic and seasoned with Arabic spices) which brims over at 200 calories.
You can even tempt your sweet side with a seasonal fresh fruit serving that comes complete with dark chocolate sauce with a hint of mint. Or, if you are the type that cannot resist strawberries, even that is available on the menu. Whatever you choose, your calorie count will never exceed 75 calories.
The Powwer Eat menu is offered alongside the usual delicious range of fresh and healthy cuisine already found on our restaurant menus.
