The modern approach has been made possible through the use of the flexible classroom from Danish manufacturers NSF which utilises a futuristic rail system to move the teaching tools around the room to suit any environment.
The NSF teaching system is brought to the UAE by Ofis - an Easa Saleh Al Gurg company which provides office solutions - and is being used by many schools throughout the UAE.
"Design in classrooms has moved on a great deal from a blackboard and wooden chairs,"
said Ajai Dayal, General Manager - Retail and Marketing, Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group.
"Teachers are demanding a responsive space which will allow them to be more interactive with the students, and the NSF design helps to create an individualised space to enhance the learning environment."
The design caters for all ages, with each classroom quickly modified to accommodate different year groups. Incorporated with the ergonomic, flexible furniture from Marko, teachers in the UAE are able to create the ideal environment for each lesson helping to improve concentration levels.
Ofis also provides specialist designers to create a bespoke environment for each school with access to some of the latest designs in the world.
Ofis is the only UAE supplier of major international brands including Aresline, Ergo, Interface, Benel, DVO, Dauphin, Samas, Parador, Zuco, and Bosse.
Ofis supplies many major companies across the Middle East, including Norr Group, Burthill, KCA, WA International, Design Design, Broadway Interiors, Holford Asso, RMJM, BSBG, City Space, HSBC, Mashreq Bank, Citi Bank, Union National Bank, Shell, Unilever, DHL and Dubai Airport.
